Rooted in innovation and responsibility, Samraj Engineering Controls has grown into one of South India’s most trusted names in custom sheet metal fabrication. Our journey began in Coimbatore in the 1970s, when our founder—an MIT-trained electrical engineer—co-founded Indian Transformers along with his brother. That venture laid the technical and ethical foundations that still power us today.
Samraj was born from a legacy of engineering excellence, with a name that pays tribute to the founder’s parents—reflecting heritage, accountability, and purpose. Over five decades, we’ve grown from fabricating transformer enclosures to delivering high-precision sheet metal parts for industries like earthmoving, renewable energy, elevators, railways, automotive, and defense. Operating from three advanced facilities in Tamil Nadu, we execute everything in-house—from CNC cutting and bending to robotic welding, powder coating, and final assembly—under ISO-certified systems and a culture of engineering integrity.
